*Hi this was a busy week for us. Tara and I had the Wizard of Oz play and she was great in it. Tuesday we went to the Bronx Zoo with her class and had a great time. We also had Spirit Day on Thursday. It is a great day at school to cellebrate all the kid's accomplishments.
*Casey discovered bees this week. He tried to pick up a bee and it stung him. He did not cry he just said that's a bad bug! He shows everyone his finger where he was stung and says bad bug!
*My mom started to have another bad flare up of her rheumatoid arthritis around Wednesday. She cannot take any medication to stop or help the pain because of her intestines. By Friday she was in bad shape. We were all going to a wedding in Hartford that night and could not go because she had to go back in the hospital. My mother really wanted to go (as did we all) and I think the realization that she could not go was hard. My mother has not been home longer than 2 weeks since January. She does better in the hospital and then comes home and for various reasons she ends up back in the hospital. She is very depressed and not very happy about her condition or quality of life. It is very hard to see her like this. Pray she can get well and be the happy, bubbly person she was. Through all of this my mother still talks to her grandchildren like she is happy and well. They love her. Tara wanted to show grandma how she looked as a munchkin and grandma gushed about how beautiful she is. Tara always has to show my mother what she looks like. Tara says grandma is her favorite person in the whole world!
*4 more days of school! Then it's Summer Vacation!!!!!

This week I played softball for the 1st time since before I had the kids. I am very sore. Tara is in a play on Monday. She is Munchkin 2 in the Wizard Of Oz. She cannot wait! She is also going on her 1st class trip to the Bronx Zoo and I am chaperoning. Casey fell this week and hurt his hand. We spent Wednesday at the emergency room. It isn't broken just swollen and bruised. We are going to see the Mets play at Shea stadium tomorrow for Father's Day. Bill will be so happy. He loves the Mets! Happy Father's Day to all but especially to my father-the hardest working man I ever met! And to my husband- the other hardest working man I ever met! We love you both!

Friday was Casey's birthday. 2 years old already. We can't believe it has been 2 years since he was born. Tara is almost done with 1st grade and we will be busy this summer. This is my first post. If all goes well there will be more to come!
